Applicants wishing to enrol at CCQ should be either Qataris or born to Qatari mothers.
Applicants should head to the Admission Section at Lusail Campus (male / female) to submit the required documents within the admission timeline. Any official document submitted to the Admission Section will not be retrieved by the student.
A minimum grade of C is needed for any credit hours submitted for transfer credit evaluation and must have been completed within the last five years..
Transfer From
Qatar University (QU)
QU students are accepted directly into CCQ per the following if they meet the below criteria:
- If the student completed English Language I – Post Foundation (ENGL 202) or Essay Writing I (ENGL 150), s/he can be accepted in one of the following academic programs:
- The Associate of Arts Program (Arabic Track)
- The Associate of Science in Information Technology
- The Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology
- The Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology
- If the student completed English Language I (ENGL 110) or English II (ENGL 111), s/he can be accepted in the Associate of Arts Program (Arabic).
- If the student did not complete any of the previous courses, s/he should register for taking the Accuplacer test.

Documents Required
Qatari Transfer Students
- A certificate of national service or an exemption certificate from the Qatari Armed Forces (Male only).
- The original Qatari high school certificate or its equivalent, noting that copies of the certificate will not be accepted. If the certificate was obtained from outside Qatar or from a private school in Qatar, an equivalent certificate must be obtained from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. - A copy of the applicant’s valid Qatari ID card.
- The transcript from the university in which he has been studying.
- The graduation certificate if he was a graduate.
- The Medical Report
Transfer Students born to Qatari Mothers
- The original Qatari high school certificate or its equivalent, noting that copies of the certificate will not be accepted. If the certificate was obtained from a private school in Qatar, an equivalent certificate must be obtained from Ministry of Education and Higher Education. You can visit the online portal for Equivalency/Attestation of Certificates for more information and to have your certificate attested.
- Certificates of Grades 10 and 11, provided that the student studied them within the State of Qatar or submitting a letter from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education - Attestation and Equivalency Section stating that the student has studied all the secondary stages within the State of Qatar. Copies of certificates will not be accepted.
- Official birth certificate from the Ministry of Public Health (a copy will not be accepted).
- A copy of the applicant’s valid Qatari ID card
- A copy of the mother's valid Qatari ID card
- The transcript from the university in which he has been studying.
- The graduation certificate if he was a graduate.
- Medical Report
